ORIGIN Design + Build is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering studio founded in 2013 by Architect Zahi Alrayyes (MA, University of Brighton, UK). The practice was originally established in Gaza, Palestine, where it developed a strong foundation in integrated design and construction, delivering residential, commercial, and civic projects with a comprehensive design-build approach.
In 2025, ORIGIN relocated its headquarters to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, continuing its operations as an international design and build practice. Today, Dubai serves as the company’s head office, supporting regional and global projects while maintaining the same commitment to design excellence, technical precision, and responsible execution.
ORIGIN is an integrated engineering solutions provider bringing together Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines under one roof. This approach enables the delivery of fully coordinated, turn-key projects from concept through completion.
The studio’s portfolio spans multiple regions, with completed and ongoing projects across the Middle East, North Africa, and Australia, serving clients in Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Mauritania, and Australia.
